Epoxy anchor adhesive, also known as chemical anchor or rebar adhesive, is a high-strength bonding system designed to secure threaded rods, rebar, dowels, and other fasteners into concrete, masonry, or rock. It works by filling the space between the anchor and the drilled hole, then curing to form a strong, durable bond. Epoxy anchors are widely used in structural, seismic, and even underwater applications due to their excellent load-bearing capacity and long-term reliability.

Follow these simple steps for safe and effective installation:
Drill the hole
Drill a hole 1/16 to 1/4 inch larger than the diameter of the rod or rebar.
Tip: The hole depth should be at least 4 1/2 times the diameter of the rod. For heavy-duty applications, increase the depth to 9 times the diameter.
Clean the hole
Blow out dust using compressed air
Brush the hole with a nylon brush and remove remaining debris
Blow out remaining dust
Prepare the epoxy
Insert the epoxy cartridge into a high-quality caulk gun
Remove the cartridge cap and dispense a small amount into a disposable container until both parts flow evenly
Attach the static mixer nozzle and dispense until a uniform gray color is achieved
Inject epoxy into the hole
Place the nozzle at the bottom and fill the hole about 5/8 full while withdrawing slowly
Insert the rod or rebar
Turn clockwise as you insert it to ensure full coverage
Clean excess epoxy
Remove extra material with a putty knife or cardboard
Allow curing
Leave undisturbed until fully cured
Finish
Remove and discard the static mixer nozzle, then replace the cartridge cap
