This silicone waterproof coating cures through moisture reaction, forming a continuous film by reacting with water vapor in the air. Once cured, it creates a seamless, vapor-permeable, elastomeric rubber membrane that provides complete weatherproof protection. Unlike many conventional roof coatings, its viscosity is minimally affected by temperature, eliminating the need for preheating in cold climates. As an oil-based coating, it also offers strong resistance to dispersion—meaning light rainfall within one hour after application will not compromise curing or long-term performance.
Moreover, silicone roof coating has an extremely low water absorption rate, effectively preventing damage caused by freeze–thaw cycles, especially in cold regions.
Modern silicone roof coatings use high-solid, solvent-free formulations with VOC emissions well below regulatory limits, making them an environmentally responsible choice.
The coating is single-component and ready to use, requiring no on-site mixing or specialized equipment. Depending on project requirements, it can be applied by spraying, rolling, or troweling. Thanks to its thick-paste formulation, silicone roof coating supports single-layer thick application without sagging—even on sloped surfaces—greatly improving construction efficiency and reducing labor costs.
