TM3030 Silane modified polyether

TM3030 is a trimethoxysilane terminated polyether that can be used to produce moisture cured elastic sealants, elastic structural adhesives, and sealing coatings. Not only does it have excellent bonding performance, but it also has a wide range of substrates for bonding. Unlike polyurethane and silicone systems, this system has no solvents, free isocyanates, and no bubbles or odors during the curing process, making it particularly suitable for the construction industry, transportation industry, and general industry.

Application Scenarios

MS3030 polymer can be used as a basic polymer in elastic sealants, elastic structural adhesives, potting adhesives, and coating materials. The curing method of polymers is moisture curing, which can be made into single component or two-component systems. The main application areas include:

• Building sealant

• Industrial sealant

• Transportation industry sealant

• Environmentally friendly home decoration adhesive

• Waterproof coating

Usage

TM3030 is soluble in ordinary organic solvents (such as ethanol), but almost insoluble in water. The curing mechanism of TM3030 polymer is that the trimethoxysilane at both ends of the polyether reacts with water in the air under catalytic conditions for hydrolysis. In order to ensure the stability of the product during processing or storage, a certain amount of chemical water removal agent must be added. This proposal uses vinyltrimethoxysilane.

Before curing, this product can be cleaned with a general solvent, such as ethanol. Dimethyl carbonate. After solidification, it can only be removed by mechanical means.

Due to its sensitivity to moisture, this product is stored in a drying environment of 41C-300 before opening, with a shelf life of 12 months. It should be used as soon as possible after opening, and products that have been used should be closed in a dry bucket and stored in a drying environment of 4C-30C. If the shelf life is exceeded, please continue to use the product after confirming that its performance has changed.
